A: I've been serving clients in the Apex, NC area at my private, boutique studio and locations across the Triangle since 2002. I have more than 30 years experience in the art of photography, and have been an active member of the Professional Photographers of America since 2009.

A: I offer a limited number of sessions weekly M-F between 9 am and 5 pm, by appointment only.  Sessions tend to book up quickly, especially during peak seasons. I generally recommend that you book your session at least several weeks in advance, sometimes longer, depending upon the type of session and season. Weekend appointments are occasionally available but please note there is a $75 after hours fee for weekends. Availability varies, so please contact me to get your photo session booked!

A: Newborns have their own schedule and due dates can be unreliable. Therefore, we'll schedule your session based off your due date, but if Baby is born early or late, we'll simply reschedule. I recommend moms shoot me a text or email when Baby is born to confirm the original date or so we can reschedule. I only schedule a limited number of newborns per month based on due dates so that I can be flexible and accommodate all my newborn clients.  You never have to worry because once I have your Baby on the schedule, we will accommodate your baby's arrival no matter how early or late.

A: Each family is unique! I'll work with you to create relaxed, stress-free photo sessions that authentically document your family's story, and produce images that take your breath away. I'm all about traditional, timeless color and soft, organic neutrals. I offer classic black and whites upon request. All final purchased images are individually hand edited, and lightly retouched for blemishes. Additional retouching is available upon request. My clients cherish heirloom quality framed portraits printed on luxurious papers and handcrafted albums with beautiful cover options. They also love the option of having all the digitals to archive. 

A: Custom Sessions are my most popular.  I'll expertly guide you through each step, from planning, to providing styling advice and a gorgeous wardrobe you can borrow, to capturing your family's natural connection and selecting your final photos. We'll collaborate on every detail and you'll receive approximately 40-50 gorgeous proofs from which to make your selections. Petite Sessions (only available for families)  are 20-30 minutes long and a great way to quickly update your family's photos. I'll be here to plan and guide you through the whole process, and you'll receive 20 beautiful proofs from which to make your selection. Mini session are 5-10 minutes, short, sweet and fun. They're great for holidays and milestone updates. Pricing, details, styles, and themes vary. 

A: All my sessions are baby/kid led, so there is no stress for them or for you. In order to capture your children's many moods and the most natural photographs, we'll simply encourage them to be themselves. We'll break, snack, play and sing...whatever it takes. As a mom of three who has photographed 100s of babies and children over more than 20 years, I've experienced lots of fussy kiddos and irritable teens, but in every situation we've turned it into a successful photo session. 

A: Yes, I do! During the online payment process for your session and products, you'll have the option of selecting Afterpay or Affirm to make your payments over time. Each payment plan option offers something slightly different, so I encourage you to read carefully through each company's information before selecting the payment plan that makes the most sense for you and your family.

A. Within about 7-10 days you'll receive a gorgeous gallery of proofs from your session. You'll select your favorites, design your artwork, and choose your digitals. It's all up to you! You'll only purchase what you love, and have the option of ordering from the online gallery or working with me to make your image selections. From there, I'll edit your images to perfection and get everything delivered to you in a timely manner.

A: If there is bad weather for an outdoor session, or an emergency, we'll reschedule.  Outside of this, I ask for at least 7 business days notice to reschedule, and allow one reschedule per session.
