Pleasant Park is a gorgeous park in Apex, NC that features a 1.5-acre Enchanted Forest that includes nine inclusive play villages for all ages and abilities, six multipurpose fields, six pickleball courts, four tennis courts, four basketball courts, two shelters, a field house with rentable rooms, a cross country course, baseball and softball fields, and much more. The highlight of this park is Splashlantis, a large splash pad that will begin welcoming families in the summer of 2024.

Apex Community Park 

2200 Laura Duncan Road, Apex, NC

Apex Community Park is a 160-acre NC park that features athletic fields, picnic areas, playgrounds, fitness and nature trails, and a beautiful 50-acre lake. This park includes a multipurpose field, sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, pickleball courts, an Elevate Fitness Course, basketball courts, ball fields, batting cages, a playground and swings designed for kids ages 2-12, restrooms, over 3 miles of nature trails, large and small shelters, picnic areas with grills, a fishing dock, and vessel launch. This is a great place to explore and exercise. 

Kelly Road Park

1609 Kelly Road, Apex, NC 

Kelly Road Park is a 25-acre Apex, NC, park that features playgrounds, picnic areas, athletic courts, and a softball field. The park includes a picnic shelter with a grill, a playground designed for kids ages 2-5, a playground designed for kids ages 5-12, a lighted softball field, a full-size tennis court, pickleball courts, basketball courts, a walking trail, and restrooms. The playground structures feature slides, ramps, swings, climbing areas, and more. 

Apex Nature Park & Seymour Athletic Fields 

2600 Evans Road, Apex, NC

Apex Nature Park and Seymour Athletic Fields include over 160 acres of active and passive Apex, NC, play areas. All are divided into two distinct sections. There are two parking lots and a paved walkway to connect both areas of the park. The two parks feature a multi-age playground, lighted tennis courts, lighted pickleball courts, lighted multipurpose fields, sand volleyball courts, a small picnic shelter, trails, restrooms, an outdoor amphitheater, a disc golf course, paved paths, a dog park, a large picnic shelter, and environmental education stations.

Apex Jaycee Park

 451 NC Hwy 55 / W. Williams Street, Apex, NC

Apex Jaycee Park is a 24-acre park that features a picnic shelter, athletic fields, and a batting cage. The picnic shelter also includes a grill. Other features include a softball field, cricket pitch, a multi-use field, a batting cage, and a playground with a shade structure – perfect for warm and sunny days! The cricket pitch area is a portion of the grass soccer fields that have been replaced with artificial turf. It is a youth-sized turf cricket pitch, a sport that is gaining popularity in Apex.
